Called and got a next-day appointment. Very thorough. I was only in for a state inspection, but Brian (in the office) patiently answered all of my questions about what may be wrong with my A/C, and even took me out to the bay when my van was on the lift to show me all the parts involved and everywhere something could go wrong. My van failed inspection for a things I knew I was close to needing done anyway. I was given an estimate with each repair clearly listed separately, and itemized w/ parts, labor, tax, and total for each repair, and then a grand total at the bottom for all the repairs. Meineke was prepared to do all the repairs right then and there if I chose to. Since I didn’t have the time that day, I chose no repairs at the time. And after all they’d done, and all the time Brian had taken to answer all my questions, he even waived the inspection fee (and no, I didn’t ask him for that)! Very impressed! I’ll definitely be back! The gentleman who helped me was named Bryson and he was exceptional. I love the online appointment and online pay. I found a nice coupon online and am a rewards member now! I know this sounds over the top but it was over the top- literally.

Meineke here ended up discovering that my simple shoe replacement on the rear drum break ended up needing a creative solution to get the proper fit. Lots of additional work and problem solving went into diagnosing this repair including multiple tests drives and temperature checks. In the end they used a lathe to slim down the shoe surface so it would fit. All of this was done after hours because I explained that I was trying to tow a trailer early the next morning cross country. I was blown away by the extra effort and communication from this group. In the end I was only charged for a standard amount of labor despite the extra work. This is my way of saying thank you to Meineke Lynchburg.
