Update on our Auto Repair , I took your advise and located The Meineke Service Center in Fairfax Virginia . Another great experience thank you for your recommendation . Blessing to all of you , I wrote this review ; "I was traveling through Fairfax Virginia in my 2003 Toyota Highlander and a disturbing loud squealing sound came from under my hood . I called my friend Ron Carroll , manager of Meineke Store in Shelbyville Ky for some problem solving . He recommended I drive into The meineke Store in Fairfax . I asked my GPS to find the location and immediately called and was invited to stop in for a check . I was met by the shops owner/manager professionally and respectfully . I advised I was traveling home to Evansville Indiana and was reluctant to continue over The allegheny mountains with this terrible sound and fear of vehicle failure. As was with prior experiences with Meineke mechanics and respectable staffing my vehicle V-Belt was repaired and a needed oil change performed . It was very apparent this shop and staff were of Meineke’s top shops noticing National Award on the wall . MEINEKE DISCOUNT MUFFLERS #274 RICHARD BRANDES & CHRIS SCHMITZ FAIRFAX, VIRGINIA CHOSEN IN NATIONAL COMPETITION AS THE TOP SHOP IN THE USA 1991 PRESENTED ON NOVEMBER 3, 1990 ORLANDO, FLORIDA AT NDERCAR SHOW 90. I have learned from troubling experiences with vehicle maintenance needs that Meineke Shops provide both Respectable and Professional Services as well as cost effective repairs . daniel carlile,I came to the shop today to get a second opinion on my car (check engine light came on and I was quoted $4,500+ by my old mechanic to replace the catalytic converter - more than the car is worth). Chris Schmitz at Meineke took the time to explain catalytic converters and why he thought I could keep driving with the existing one; he also offered to review the long list of repairs totaling more than $6,000 that my old mechanic gave me, and declared most of it "nonsense." I also observed him talking on the phone and working with other customers in person. He is straightforward and does not upsell. This man clearly knows what he’s doing, and is honest with his customers. What a relief! We just found our new mechanic. Thanks, Chris.

Air Conditioning Cooling System Work; etc. BT Chris - the Owner/Manager of the Facility is a Gentleman with deep automotive experience. He is flexible and creative. Honest and accommodating. He knows the business and is very helpful. BT Survey update Recent visit yesterday. Made appt by phone. Excellent timing available. Rear brakes were grabbing. Very noisy. Safety hazard. gene uricoli,I'm 29. I know nothing about cars. Going to another auto shop that's not the dealership is scary, because I know... nothing about cars. Walking into this shop, Chris was very open, responsive, and easy to talk to. Was more than willing to share information about maintenance schedules, the status of the car, what recommendations he has. Looking around the shop, I was automatically impressed. Lots of awards, trophies, certifications... Definitely a place with alot of history. And then, Chris told me how long he's been in the business. And I knew right then and there, that I found a auto shop that I'll becoming back to for awhile. Definitely glad he was recommended to me.
