I visited the Meinke Care Care Center on 1632 Pat Booker Ste. 112 in Universal City, TX on May 19,2026. I am so glad that I did because I was driving by and what caught my eye was the advertisement saying 50% off repair for brakes. So I pulled in to go and ask about a quote for brake repair. I had just came from another facility getting my oil changed and they said I would need brake repair costing about $800 and I couldn’t believe it! When I went in to ask for help and told the service advisor he said he would check my brakes. After checking the brakes, he asked me to come outside so he could show me what he had found. He said that there was nothing wrong with my brakes and the people from the facility where I had my oil changed and didn’t really look at them because you could see clearly. I showed him the pictures the other facility had taken and he said they didn’t even look. I really appreciate how he was so honest with me and didnt even charge me for the brake inspection. He also gave me other helpful recommendations that I needed for maintenance on my car. Why can’t people just be honest and not rip you off making you pay for something you don’t need. This especially happens to women a lot when some men see that a woman is alone w/ out a man and doesn’t know much about her car. Ladies please be careful and get more than one opinion. I will definitely start going to the Meineke-1577 on 1632 Pat Booker Rd. Ste 112 Universal City TX 78148 where the service agents are truly honest and wanting to help you and not rip you off out of your money. Thank you again for being there to help me. I wish I remembered the name of the service agent that helped me but I know he will remember that I was the lady w/the Ford Focus. Thank you!!!
I took my vehicle to get a second opinion for brake pads and rotors repair. Not only did they explain the two options for repair or replacement, they also SHOWED me what was going on. They also identified an issue with my recently completely warranty / recall work, that appeared not sufficient. It was an easy process and not one a bit of confusion. I have been looking for new place on this side of town. Johnathon did a great job.

Have been having my trucks serviced at Pat Booker Rd Meineke for several years now. Always had a great experience and more than satisfactory work. I came in with a leaking rear shock. All four shocks/struts were replaced in 2023. Jonathan greeted me as I had called ahead. He was courteous and enthusiastic. He had the new shocks in stock and pulled my truck onto the lift and verified that indeed a shock was leaking. The shocks had a Lifetime Warranty and it was happily honored. I had a very pleasant experience all around. I have worked with both Jonathan and the Manager Will on several occasions and will continue to. Michael D.
