Auto Repair Reviews for Meineke Shop #828
Another shop tried quoting me $1500 for repairs for my state inspection, so I was calling around for prices. Jacob offered instead to give me a free diagnosis because the repair the other shop said I needed didn't make sense. Turns out my car did need something else for inspection that was actually broken that the other shop missed but this was only a $350 dollar repair and they sent me pictures of everything they did and looked at. They are a little hard to get a hold of but that's because Jacob is literally always either talking on the phone or with someone in person and he doesn't try to rush people off. I was very pleased with the price and service and I will for sure be back!
Leah,Jacob greeted me right away and was super eager to help me. Not many shops have techs that can look at clutches and manual transmissions but Jacob and his tech David are super knowledgeable and they very diligently heard out my issue and were able to diagnose it. And they didn't even charge me for what they did. Once I'm able to take some time off work, I will be back for them to get the repairs done. The inside is small but it's decorated and clean, which is a nice surprise for an automotive shop. Definitely will be back soon, and recommend others come check them out
Jack Ward,I recommend giving this place a chance. I had come before and received mediocre service and the prices were all crazy high. Then I had a breakdown - my water pump blew and tore up my belt - and they were the only ones who could fit me in. They got me in and out quickly, the prices were fair and the new manager Jacob and his staff are friendly and professional. I've had another shop I've used forever but they are always backed up, so I am glad to have Meineke be my backup for needed services on our cars.
Charles Michael,This is not Stan. I just use his email. A long ago friend. So I went here when my main guy couldn’t do it by the end of Aug. Didn’t have time or stickers . Was going to go back to another small shop but passed the Mieneke and it said ‘inspections.’ So went in. Thought ‘uh-oh,a chain’ and the uber driver taking me home warmed they’d find too much, as did ex boyfriend ( who added they did a great job fixing his brakes after citing.) But I’d rather someone find too much than too little, trying to drive my 2012 Sonic ‘into the grave’ as ex boyfriend always put it. They found unsafe brakes which they couldn’t - and I wouldn’t want them to - pass but something else that could wait a month or two but they’d still pass me. I chose to fix both, $2100 cheaper than a new car. the next day my left light bulb blew and they gave me a new one for free. This was a stressFREE experience .
Stan462,Meineke of Lancaster on Manheim Pike did an absolutely amazing job with my car. They thoroughly diagnosed problems with my car. They took pictures and went down the line of each issue with prices and recommendations of which repairs needed done first. Even if there are other people waiting, they give the same time and care to each person. They do not just about making money, they care about the safety of their customers. That is their top priority. I would highly recommend anyone to go to Meineke for their time, effort , care and concern, reasonable prices, and honestly. Thank you Meinkeke for all your hard work!
