UPDATE: Customer service promptly responded to my review and independently evaluated the work on my car at Meineke through the photos and video taken during the oil change/tire rotation/repair process. Ultimately, the evaluator determined by that the issues with my car were not the garage's fault. I disagreed with this assessment. I appreciated the commitment to customer service and the refund offered. It is evident that Meineke wants to ensure a quality customer experience and will rectify concerns to retain customers. In addition, the signage that was not lit at night was related to a faulty timer and will be fixed. INITIAL POST: I took my car to this garage for an oil change and tire rotation based on a mailer coupon. During the tire rotation, two bolts snapped and required replacement, about $200 extra. A week later, I took my car to a dealership to evaluate a wonky tire sensor light. Wheel studs on two different tires broke during the removal of the tires. Clearly, this was an error by the Meineke garage staff who over torqued and snapped off the bolts. When I called Meineke, I spoke to the same man who took care of the service a week prior. He told me that to have even a partial refund based on warranty, I would need to return my car to the garage for him to analyze if it was one of his technicians. Why would I trust my vehicle to this garage that made the error in the first place? I now have to pay more to fix an error they made and I will do so elsewhere. If I could give this garage zero stars, I would. No one should take their vehicle here. I should have checked the Yelp reviews before making an appointment. And as a side note, to drop this car off at night when this garage has no lights on including the large roadside sign makes no one feel safe.
