Auto Repair & Mechanic Shop in Mt. Kisco, NY #2815

I needed AC service for my 2017 Durango. I did a search in my area and this shop stood out above the others with all its high reviews so I booked an eval. I met the manager Alex when I got there in the morning. I was early so we got to talking about a variety of subjects. Very old school work ethic and pride in his work. Right after my own heart. The eval showed a leak so we scheduled service for the following week. I was given a full break down of the cost/parts/time of repair to sign off on. I found the cost to be reasonable for the work being done and parts needed. Arrived at 8am, saw Alex, had a hearty good morning, then he went ro work and I went to the diner as I had no ride home and was going to have to wait for the car which Alex had told me would take about 4 hours. Things went a little sideways after that. I had setup in the waiting area watching a movie when he came in around 10:30 with the news, wrong part. They're sending correct one. Enter thunderstorms from hell and then the day turned into Murphys law. I was there the whole day.. But strangely enough, for an impatient dude like me, it didn't bother me. Dave's shop (the owner) is cool, with great information along with some very funny signs. I found a spot and just kicked back. Alex came in to talk to me a couple of times as did Phillip and Matt. Keeping me updated. They had other stuff going on as well. When my truck was done Alex was remorseful that it had taken all day. I assured him it wasn't a problem. The good news was that the system held tight, showed no more leaks (he used dye to check), and was functioning properly. I can attest to that as my truck was frigid on the way home! I would very highly recommend Dave's shop and Alex and the guys work. Old school quality work at a fair price with great energy from the people who work there. I'm a loyal guy. I had the same mechanic for 25 years before I moved. I have a local guy, he's does a great job taking care of my truck, but there are things he doesn't do. I can tell you I'll be going back to Dave and Alex for all the big stuff my guy can't do. I'm wearing my coat in my car now 🥶🥶🥶 Rock on!🤘🏻😎

I had my inspection done at Meineke yesterday, and the whole experience was smooth and efficient. I was taken in on time, and the inspection was completed quickly without any hassle or unnecessary delays. The staff was professional, straightforward, and kept things simple, which I really appreciated. It’s nice to find a place that respects your time and gets the job done right. I’ll definitely consider coming back for future service needs.

Mel Stringer 08!22/2025 to 08/26/2025 Yes, this is another 1995 Toyota Corolla Post Alex and Dave left no stone unturned and delivered META level quality results, parts and installation. Originally I requested exhaust pipe removal and replacement. As we discussed this an old problem was addressed. Yes, it was the manifold (the vulgar uninvited party crashed). What began as a simple remove and replace project turned ugly. Dave determined this particular vehicle was built in Canada. All the quality was on par, but the manifold? And the manifold gasket(s)? Oooooh Noooooo. It appeared this was the end. Time to turn the page. But hold on, Alex and Dave’s experience and intuitive skills suggested otherwise. AI knowledge basis is good, but can’t rise to the META level Alex and Dave achieved to both find and install the correct manifold and correct gaskets. If my vehicle could talk, to borrow from a famous phrase, it would say, “Yeh, I’m thinking I’m back!” A special thank you to Alex and Dave for their tenacity and investigory skills to deliver quality outcomes. Dave and the team were great and even stayed late as I had a road trip planned the following morning. They were able to do pads, rotors and calipers before we left. The price was good but I really appreciated the service. Always happy to share a great experience.
