My air condition was not working. Right away I was asked if I had this looked at before, which I had, and it was determined there was probably a leak somewhere. They were correct and told me the price would be about $500. Due to my budget at the time I was not able to afford this repair and I told them this. After about 20 minutes Mike called me back saying he could get a cheaper part and remove a diagnostic charge which would knock off about $100 from the price. Plus they were running a special on AC repairs for 10% off. This worked out well for me and gave the OK to do the repairs. I appreciate this very much. They took the extra step and made sure they kept my business. I will always bring my car here.

Service writer was very knowledgeable. He presented various options for solving our problem and explained the costs benefits and risks of each so that I could make an informed decision. Promptly kept us abreast of the vehicle's status and completed repairs ahead of schedule. No unpleasant surprises in cost at end of repairs. Vehicle appeared to be repaired properly the first time.

I have taken both my cars here, my first car needed a water pump. The second one needed an oil change and both times the service was wonderful! Everything was explained into detail and it was done in great timing. Thank you guys.

Michael went above and beyond staying after hours to wait for the parts to repair my wife's car so she would have a ride to work the next am. The mechanics are very knowledgeable at this location and the manger Michael is very personable.

I went to the location to have a custom exhaust done on a jeep. I built a custom motor for it and I provided most of the parts and the techs did a great job on the 3 inch custom exhaust install nicely done.

I had a problem, or my Subaru did. The exhaust was just way too quiet, and I had an exhaust competition two days from my appointment. This was for the worlds largest Subaru meet, called the "Wicked Big Meet". Last year only producing 103 db in my 97 Legacy, I had to be louder in my new 98 Subaru Impreza OBS. Thanks to your guys who did a great job at bending the exhaust and producing a quality flow the sound was awesome. It was 117 DB awesome. However I only placed fourth. The service was great and they made a great suggestion with the exhaust tip.

I've been a regular customer of our local STS since I relocated to NJ 19 years ago. For regularly scheduled maintenance and when ever I have a problem that's were I took it. I knew everyone that worked there and they knew my wife and myself by name... and they really knew our vehicles. Well this time was different, I went and I didn't know anyone and their name was now Mavis (formerly STS). They examined my vehicle and provided me with a diagnosis and informed me that they'll need to have the car the whole day. So I went to two (2) other Mavis locations and was told the same thing and that the repairs would take all day and cost just over $1,000. This was going to be an extensive all day project. Which involve taking most of the front end apart. They even had me pay for parts that they specially ordered costing me $360. Only to find that they couldn't do the work because they didn't have the proper equipment and tools. This process took 2 weeks and 4 trips to the shop. I brought my vehicle to Meineke for a fourth opinion and they found that was not the case. They repaired my vehicle and even changed the oil while they were at it. My final bill from Meineke was $290. I picked up my vehicle and drove directly to Mavis to return the parts and informed them that this is the last you'll ever see of me...

Best experience I've had with an auto shop. Hands down. Mike took me to the bay and showed me what the problem was and told me my options along with fair prices. After agreeing with Mike's recommendation to change out the flex pipe and cat, my car was ready by lunchtime. The office was a little crowded but it just showed me how many people trusted the shop and it didn't bother me at all since I was dropping the car off. Ill definitely be back.
