Incredibly kind, honest folks here. Highly recommend! My wife had taken her vehicle to her dealership for routine maintenance, and was told she had a badly leaking water pump, the car was unsafe to drive, and was quoted a large amount for the repair (over $1700). Took the car here for a second look and an estimate, and they found absolutely nothing wrong with the water pump. They walked me back and showed me the vehicle and provided me with reference photos via email. The staff was so kind and didn't even ask for a diagnostic fee or anything. They saved me nearly $2k on unneeded repairs. Will be going here for all my car maintenance going forward

I like this shop a ton in Hillsborough. I used to go to Quality Auto for a couple years but there were a handful of times that made me question it - the price always being higher than the estimate, not fixing my AC electrical issue, trying to up charge me. Then I switched to Meikeke on a one off and it was great and eventually fully switched over. I never got up charged and they have done solid work on my cars - tires, axel fixes, oil changes, electrical, maintenance. I like the owner/manager a lot and they do consistent good work.

Great experience, excellent service! I trust in the business and recommend to all people in need of any type of car maintenance or service. The only mechanic I trust in town!! Had all great experiences with 4 different vehicles. I recently sent my daughter for her first time going to a business for car maintenance. They treated her with respect and made her feel so comfortable. She mistakenly went across the street to Mavis and was treated so horribly that she was in tears. Thank you once again Rich and the crew for taking care of us!

I had a great experience at Meineke in Hillsborough and want to recognize Rich, the manager, and the service writer for taking great care of me. I originally came in just for an oil change and didn’t have an appointment. I had called the day before and was told they were booked, but Rich told me to call Saturday morning to see if they could fit me in. I called Saturday, and about 20 minutes later Rich called me back and told me to bring the car in. During the inspection, they found oil leaks in two different areas that I wasn’t aware of. They explained what they found and what needed to be repaired. The work included replacing the engine oil cooler because the OEM plastic design is known to be a weak point, replacing the left axle seal, and completing the oil change. I really appreciated that they took the time to properly inspect the vehicle instead of simply doing the oil change and sending me on my way. Rich and the service writer explained the repairs and kept me informed throughout the process. The customer service was excellent, everyone was professional, and I felt like my vehicle was in good hands. I especially appreciate Rich making the time to get me in when they were already booked. Thank you to Rich and the entire Hillsborough Meineke team for taking care of my car. I definitely recommend them and will be coming back for future service.

I had a tire blow over the holiday weekend and needed a new tire for my Subaru Forester. Even though it was last minute and they were very busy they took me in. After checking the other three tires, turned out that they were close to also blowing. They didn’t push me and let me decide what to do. I decided to replace all four tires and they did it in a reasonable amount of time. I have been coming to the Hillsborough Meineke for several years because the crew is friendly, professional and don’t try to sell you anything that you don’t need. I highly recommend this service center and will continue to go there for all of my automotive needs. And highly recommend them to all of my friends.
