So, I know nothing about vehicles. My husband always took great care in regards to these matters. He passed away & a friend recommended Meineke here in Franklin. Wow! If you need service of any kind, go see Justin and you will receive the integrity that we hope for in these kinds of earth decisions. I was honest with them and they were honest with me. I will be returning and sincerely recommend you head to Meineke for your car service needs.
The work was fine, but the lack of communication was terrible. I made and appointment on a Tuesday morning I had a coolant leak in my VW Atlas. I have a vacation home in the Franklin area and was in town with just the one vehicle. After a quick check, I was told that the water pump needed replacing and it would take about 5 hours to fix. I assume it would be done by later that day. I had to take a Uber home. I did not hear anything about the car later that day or the next morning and I called. The number listed on the website goes to a national number, not the store and they sent a message to call me back. Finally someone did. Now they tell me that it will another day to get the part in. I didn’t hear from them the next morning so I called twice and got the national number again. Each time they said that they sent a message to the sop for someone to call me with an update. No call backs. I finally searched and found a direct number and called and spoke to someone there. I was finally told that the part was in and the repair would be completed that afternoon. I was stranded at home without a car for 2 and a half days. If someone would have just updated me early on so could have rented a car so my scheduled appointments could have been kept. In a small town like this it is very hard to get a timely Uber driver. Please do a much better job communicating. It was very aggravating being in limbo like that.
Everybody was super friendly and helpful and got me out of there in a hurry!
