I went to Mieneke on 4th Street on July 28th to have work done on my 2012 Cadillac SRX. I’d had someone look at it before there and he told me my bearings were going out somewhere around my axle. So I thought that was what was wrong with it. Well yesterday I went there and that guy doesn’t work there anymore. The new mechanic said he wasn’t taking another mechanics word for that he needed to drive it himself so he would know what was going on. I must say at that point I thought they were guessing. I didn’t want someone to be experimenting on my car. I wanted to know for sure they were fixing the right thing so my problem of hearing a loud noise while driving would be over. The current mechanic came off kind of brash. He definitely isn’t a customer relations guy. lol. But just the same I needed my problem fixed so I took a chance and told him to fix it. This was even though he said my problem was a rear right wheel bearing out. I kept thinking the whole time that I was going to have this guy replace the wheel bearing and I would still have my noise to deal with. It was kind of stressful. I mean before the other mechanics opinion was going to cost me $570.00. This guy fixing my wheel bearing was going to cost $627.00 and I wasn’t even sure my problem would be solved. Anyway, he replaced my right rear wheel bearings and it solved my problem, so he was right the whole time time. Thank God. lol. All I can say is this, the mechanic isn’t the friendliest of guys but he definitely knows his business. I wasn’t there to make friends, I was there to have my problem solved and have that annoying noise to go away. That noise is gone and I am happy. I appreciate that the mechanic knew what he was talking about. So I would recommend them to anyone. If you’re looking for a friend you better go somewhere else. But if your looking for someone who can fix your car go to Mieneke on 4th Street in St. Louis. By the way, the desk manager was very professional and polite the entire time. All in all it was a pleasure doing business with them.

K K,I took my Cadillac SRX in because of a noise in the front end. Brian, the manager there was very helpful. I can see why he is the manager at that location on 4th Street in St.Louis. The mechanic that actually worked on my car knew his stuff. He did his job well and even explained to me what was wrong in terms I could even understand. The work he did was excellent. I would recommend the Meineke on 4th street to anyone having issues with their vehicle. They are true professionals there. I know I will be going back.
