Auto Repair Reviews for Meineke Shop #279
The staff was so helpful!! I came in for just an emissions test but they found my back tires were REALLY needing replaced. I was tight on time but since they could get it done same day, I wanted to take advantage of already being there. BUT I had to be home for my daughter when she got back from school. They came up with the perfect solution, ran me home, took the car back to get all fixed up, then picked me up later to come complete the paperwork. They really went the extra mile to help me out and I so appreciate it :)
Kristine Wells,I'm so glad I stopped in to this shop! I was actually on my way to another repair shop to get my exhaust work done but decided to go here and get a second opinion. The other shop had given me a quote of $160 which I was ready to spend but when Austin, one of the employees there looked at it, he told the manager Mike Perez that he could do the repair much easier than what the other shop was going to charge me and they ended up fixing it for $89.00! Since I am retired and my wife and I are living on social security, and driving a 2015 GMC Acadia with 205,000 miles on it, every dollar counts! Mike is a very good manager, his shop and waiting area is neat and clean. Mike is very personable, always has a smile on his face and does everything he can to offer a reasonable price and won't try to sell you something you don't need. I will definitely be going back. And NO, I am NOT related to him!!
Bruce Kunz,After years of dealing with mechanics who constantly tried to upsell and overcharge me, finding Mike and the team at the Ballwin Meineke was a breath of fresh air. I’ve been bringing my vehicles here for three years now, and their customer service is unmatched. They do fantastic, thorough work and consistently go above and beyond—even helping me navigate and fight for extended manufacturer warranty claims. They are incredibly fair, efficient, and professional. It’s rare to find an auto shop with this level of integrity. Highly recommend!
Jenn Edwards,Mike was really helpful when I called following a safety/emissions inspection failure. Got me in right away to check it out, and was very clear with separate cost estimates for best and worst case situations. They were careful with the existing system and were able to patch the hole in my exhaust pipe without needing to replace the more expensive pieces. Good customer interaction and very mindful of my needs!
Scott Davis,Called on a Sunday, someone answered and booked an appt for Monday. went in on time my car stated I needed brake pads 36% on front 20 % on back... after 20 mins. Mike the office manager comes out to tell me brakes are fine it was a glitch giving wrong info. I would have gotten the brakes done right then but he told me I was fine. Had an appt took almost 30 mins of their time and no charge. Will always use them . While waiting there were 2 other customers and they just kept talking about the great service to each other. I am thrilled that I found them👍🏻
