Auto Repair & Mechanic Shop in Hagerstown, MD #2566

They were very friendly and honest with us about our breaks because our Camry flashed saying that maintenance was needed so we went in younger Toyota for a oil change tire rotation and fluids topped the mechanic called us over there and said that we were at a 4 and needed breaks soon.. so for the next 4wks we put the money aside and then went in on a sat and the mechanic says to my husband it was the back breaks and we just had those done and said put my tires on and don’t touch anything else., we left and rode up to meineke and they gave him an appointment for the next sat and we went in to the appt and he looked at um and he said ur tires are a good 7 and looks great the front were a 7 as well but the back were supposed to have be changed 6 mths ago.. we think they were fine from the beginning but ever since we paid the car off in Aug of last year every time the car says we need maintenance we feel like they use that to get us on to find something else to get money from us.. but meineke thanks for your honesty 🙏💙

It was the hottest time of the summer yet this year and I went to go to the store and the blower to my air conditioner in my car would not work! I tried several times including turning my car on and off again! I didn’t know what to do! I called several garages where I live I couldn’t find anyone that was able to fix it but one and he couldn’t get it in until July 17th! I couldn’t wait that long I have multiple underlining medical conditions and I cannot go without air conditioning! So you can only imagine my dilemma. After calling to shops in Chambersburg, the second one said I’m sorry ma’am. We do not fix air conditioners however why don’t you call Meineke in Hagerstown Maryland so I tried doing that and I got one in Waldorf Maryland then I tried again and I got one in Philadelphia PA that gentleman said who are you trying to call so I said I’m trying to get a hold of one in Hagerstown Maryland so that he referred me to the Meineke on Northpoint Drive in Hagerstown Maryland and I spoke with a very nice gentleman named Pat and I explained my problem Pat said you can come in tomorrow at two. I will be happy to look at your car. Do not try to use that blower turn it off because if you do, you could burn up the wiring and that will cost you double he gave me an estimate and I said well I have to come up with the money but if I do not, I will call you at 7 AM, but I’m sure I can. I just have to make sure so I did come up with the money and when I got in my car the next morning the blower worked great I called in and I told the next gentleman that because Pat was unavailable and I said can I use it? He said no do not use it if he told you not to use it don’t use it or look at it when we get in there so when I got in there, they did a diagnostic and they said that no it did not work at first when they got in there and then when they took the blower mower motor out, it worked on the ground so they had to order the part from Frederick Maryland. I couldn’t get it done that day. They were gonna take me home but after taking it out, they said that I could drive it home overnight and bring it back to the next day to get fixed. They were so very kind and courteous. I had no issues with them when they took it out the next day they sent it to my cell phone, which I was very impressed with telling me what was wrong and then they explained it to me at the counter. The gentleman took his time showed me pictures on the screen of what was wrong And explained it all to me and there was a $20 charge. I didn’t understand and he explained exactly what it was and then I understood it and they fixed it. They told me the day before it be about an hour within 25 minutes. My car was fixed and give them back to me. I could not have been more happy And more impressed with these gentlemen as they told me that they were a full garage and that they could fix anything I ever needed to please remember him and I most certainly will and I have already passed their name on to several people so I hope that they get much more work from these people And my son also and I needed some kind of cabin filter or something and they said that it had never been changed and if my son didn’t know when he changed the oil it was hiding he never would have so now my son is aware of it so he will be checking it, I will now be back. It couldn’t be any happier each gentleman, more wonderful and they deserve and acknowledgment for their great service and personalities. They were quick and efficient and understanding about my health issues when nobody else was bravo to Meineke on N. Point Dr. and Hagerstown, Maryland thank you to all you man it was able to help me.

I had an awesome experience getting my MD inspections done as we have moved back. Tires failed inspection and they had 2 new ones on for me at a competitive rate within the next hour. They will let you know what could be done, but don’t force anything on you. Also, the full synthetic oil change with complimentary tire rotation is a great deal and cheaper than anywhere around that I’m aware of. I will absolutely be a long time customer!

The staff is always friendly, and is honest as they come. I won't go to any other car care place. I can't tell you the amount of times these guys have saved me thousands of dollars because they are so honest. I had a recall for a part I needed fixed. They found me the recall and told me where to go. The place was going to make us pay hundreds to fix the part, so I brought it back to Meineke. I noticed that there were new electrical issues that hadn't been there before. They fixed the part, but my car was still acting funny. Meineke took my car back in and they found (after some searching) that 2 wires had been cut, causing a fuse to blow repeatedly. And they charged me nothing for taking the car back in the second time, no labor, no parts, nothing, and my car works like a dream. These are good people, go see them.

This was my first time at this shop. The entire staff was welcoming and helpful. They described every problem with great detail, provided pictures and descriptions. Patrick the owner was very kind and helped me understand what they were doing to my car as they did it and gave me options on what was best for my type of car. He explained everything and made it easy to understand. I will definitely be taking my car back!
