Auto Repair Reviews for Meineke Shop #2857
Good to find a rare mechanic shop in the hood on Canal, where their employees bring their decades of experience together to get us up and running! These guys and Leah, will speak to you and explain what is happening; I was ready to drop $500 on batteries and an alternator, but BOB explained the central computer was the issue, not powering up the alternator. Saved me hundreds! Anyway, this MEINEKE is top tier, no week long lines, no miscommunication, just a shop full of people who know and love their jobs! THANK YOU! See you soon for oil change and tuneup! phin percy
phin percy,After being disappointed by long wait times for appointments available at other places (2-3 wks), I was elated to find out that the Meineke in my neighborhood would not only take me same-day, but also had my car towed there for FREE (good within 5 mi)! I had two tires put on in under an hour, and was on my way! John helped me out, and was beyond helpful despite his terrible migraine. I even got a military discount because John noticed my veteran’s license plate. Will be using them again for sure! A+++
Mark Medina,I was traveling from out of state and happened onto the Meineke on Canal with a tire issue. Coincidentally, while there, I had an issue with a check engine light. This place is what a repair shop should be, courteous, knowledgeable, friendly, professional, capable, etc. John, Bobby, and Alex were all great. If I did live in New Orleans, this would be my go to shop. Give these guys a try, You will be glad you did.
Carl Wright,I had a great experience at the Canal Street location. The location was very busy and they let you know that as soon as you walked in. I had time so I waited and it wasn’t too long of a wait before they took my car back and performed the diagnostic. I was pleased with the outcome. Although I have an extended warranty plan and the problem is covered Meineke don’t take warranty insurance plans. If they did I would have gotten my car repaired there. But I did think there diagnostic fee was a little high. The staff is very friendly.
Lois Garrison,I love taking my car to Meineke! They always squeeze me in and get the work done on the same day. They were once running later than the time they had promised me and instead gave me a generous discount. I highly recommend this team of genuine and extremely knowledgeable people. Highly recommended!!
