I booked online for an oil change and arrived early as I had a few car issues to discuss. Dominick immediately called me up to the counter. This is my 2nd visit at Northlake and he is the greatest. He went over things with me clearly so I could understand. He went and checked the car out. I did need work done which I had expected. He gave me the total, I took out coupons, lol. He worked his magic and we agreed on the price. I brought a book, snack and drink as I had said I was going to stay online for the oil change. I read about 8 pages and all of a sudden saw my car being pulled out. Dominick came in and said the car was done! All work finished. He gave me suggestions. He is so knowledgeable, polite and efficient. Great job! I had an oil change, fuel air induction -carbon cleaning service, spark plugs replacement with tune up.

I called in for a quote on something I suspected my car needed, and instead of giving me the runaround, he immediately offered to get my car in for a free inspection within 30 minutes. That level of action and urgency is exactly what made me decide to come in. Once I arrived, the inspection was quick. Dominique confirmed my suspicions and even showed me the exact parts that needed replacement. He patiently answered my long list of questions and walked me through the pricing structure in a way that made me feel confident I wasn’t being overcharged. While I waited, I watched him handle both difficult and easy customers with the same calm, friendly, and professional attitude. His smile and hospitality never faded. He’s a real asset to the company. As a Black woman, I’m often anxious going into spaces where there’s a big knowledge gap—especially with car repairs—because it’s easy to feel taken advantage of. Dominique completely eased that anxiety. He explained everything clearly, respectfully, and without a hint of condescension. That meant more to me than he probably realizes. I’ll definitely be returning for all my car needs. I also want to shout out Ishmael, my service tech. He made sure to show me every part that had an issue and was incredibly kind and personable throughout the process. I never felt rushed, and he didn’t split his attention between other cars. Dominique said come on in and we'll take care of you. From the time I walked in until I walked Dominique kept me informed on the progress. The service and price was great and the tech took care of the air cleaner to.

I called to check their hours for an oil change and when the employee on the phone learned I couldn't come due to conflicting work times, he offered me an Uber to/from work. When I arrived, the gentleman at the front desk knew my name and had the coupon already loaded into my account. Oil change itself was very fast. They didn't try to upsell me a lot of things.
