Auto Repair & Mechanic Shop in West Hartford, CT #165

I came to this shop to replace my air intake hose on my acura tsx. The appointment time was honored and all work was done professionally. This shop has a unique customer service centered flow that makes getting your car fixed as painless as possible, and that sets them apart from other shops. The office staff were friendly and communicated very well throughout the process, and they worked hard to get the part I needed (And the air intake hose seems to be difficult to find). The shop waiting area is air conditioned and a TV is available. I felt relaxed waiting for the job to be completed. The owner and front office staff are down to earth, professional, and appear to enjoy fixing cars while attempting to put the customers needs and concerns first. The price was more than reasonable (And it beat out 2 other quotes I recieved elsewhere), and a discount was applied. The mechanics are hardworking and don't just sit around, and I witnessed a lot of customer service get done on multiple cars today. I've been to a lot of shops over the years, and I will say that this is the best shop in the West Hartford/Hartford area just on customer service alone. My car runs great, thank you. I am also going to service my 2nd car at this shop, and am certain that this can be my go-to shop for years to come. I 100% highly recommend this shop to anyone that needs a consistent mechanic. The company performed a multi point inspection, topped off all fluids checked tire pressure and added air as needed. They did a great job while I waited in the office. All was done to my satisfaction in less than an hour after my arrival. I didn’t need to schedule an appointment. When I called that afternoon to advise that I had recently started to see an icon on the dashboard to the effect that one or more of the tires had less than proper pressure, John Jr. said something like bring the car down, and, we’ll take care of that for you. When I advised that I didn’t know how many miles the car, a 2009 Camry had been driven since I last changed the oil etc., John Jr. said we’ll check that too while you are here and do the necessary. Bottom line is that they took very good care of me on very short notice with focus on every detail. They made me feel good about doing business with them as I had been doing for a good number of years.

Hurray I finally found a car care place with men who actually know what they are doing. I needed an oil change. Usually at my other place that would be all I would get...and they would use cheap material. John A runs the meineke store in West Hartford and believe me he runs it very well. He and his crew KNOW what they are doing. Thank you

I met John on the rebound from another garage I left the other garage due to very unreasonable pricing and they went corporate. John was very enthusiastic and skilled he provided great pricing and and completed the job in good time I highly recommend Meineke
