It was Saturday, late morning. My front left break began grinding and seizing up. I am new to the area. I knew no one and had a 3 hour drive early the next morning. I called three other care care facilities, they all said they couldn't see me, they were either too busy or closing at noon. I called Meineke in Lewes, Delaware and they said that the condition of my car sounded unsafe and they would see me right away. I went to the Meineke shop and it was obvious they were extremely busy. They looked at my car within the hour. They didn't have the breaks/rotors to fix the front breaks that were 'metal-on-metal'. They sent for the parts, did an oil change, new front breaks, balanced my tires,and had me out of there by 4:00pm. I won't be going anywhere else for my car service. In spite of their really busy schedule, they fit me in and I have full confidence in their work.

During my vacation my ac went out. The staff, a female in particular(cant remember her name), was extremely friendly-understanding-and did everything in her ability to 'expedite' the repair of my vehicle.

A/C was not working. I took my vehicle to Boulevard and they quoted a replacement of the compressor and adding coolant. Your technician said I just needed coolant. I didn't have a appointment, but I called in to see if they could check why my brake light was on and why I had a soft brake pedal, and Julia told me most definitely bring it in and they would take a look for me. They checked it all out and told me what was wrong and that they would take care of it, little over an hour later I was back on the road with no problems.

I called to make an appointment and the lady that answered the phone was extremely pleasant and helpful. When I walked in the door I was greeted by three staff members. One of them took my information and told me when the car would be ready. They called when the car was ready, I picked it up and left with a smile on my face! That did not happen at the last place where I took the car. I will go back to this Meineke and have already recommended it to several friends.

I came into Meineke to have burnt out headlight repaired and the mechanic located a nail in my left front tire causing slow leak. Was extremely grateful for the above & beyond care given as I had a nine hour road trip planned over that weekend.

I called in with a problem and was told to come right over. They diagnosed and reapired the problem in only a hour.

Veterans day I heard on the local radio station about a free oil change at meineke in Lewis De. I went and was treated to the best promotion ever. The staff was friendly and upbeat even at 5pm after doing over 240 free oil changes. I had a bad valvue on one tire, they fixed, no charge. Thank you Lewis Meineke for a GREAT service.

Angie and Jonathan are the BEST. Needed to have head light replaced so my wife could drive home. They performed work on moments notice and she was on her way! I always try to use this location. EXCELLENT service.

On Veteran's Day, we passed the AMERICAN flag and a sign that read free oil change. We did a U-turn to see if it was true.There was also free food which my husband said was really good.The camaraderie was great ,too. I dropped my truck off the night before for an early morning appointment. THe staff recognized my name and informed me that they didn't have my tires in stock and took the time to assist me in getting them ordered. The next day my tires were never delivered but they took the time to call and offer me some other tires they did have in stock for a discount and they stayed a bit later to make sure my truck was ready to go. I feel they went above and beyond to make sure my experience was a memorable one

Service on the vehicle is always great

I was concerned with my brakes on my vehicle. I called and tried to make an appt quickly. Angie told me to drop off the car in the morning and they would work me in. They did just that plus an oil change. The staff is always wonderful there!

Visited during Veteran Free Oil Change People were great and event for veterans was fantastic.

I took my Equinox in for brake service. They checked it out found it wasn't my brakes & completed only service that was needed. The price seemed fair & I will probably be returning there for an oil change soon!

noticed an advertisement on tv when I returned home noting an oil change price of $ 19.95 yet I was charged $ 34.95 as noted on your in store electronic display. am I entitled to a refund? on my next visit. please respond.

came in with appt and they wrote up my info. said have a cup of coffee and tv. upon starting oit change they said they suggest new air filter and showed up old one i said ok. they came back in a reasonable time and i picked up my car at front door andpaid and left.

The young lady I approached (sorry I forgot her name - glasses near service area door not near window) I had intentionally returned to because she was friendly knowledgeable & assisted me with the app on my phone.

The blonde front desk girl is awesome. Always super nice and informative. I like the coupons and the new point system. Service is always quick. Used to go to Jiffy Lube and they'd tell me that my car was falling apart and needed a ton of work every time I went. I did feel as if I paid more than I should have for my new rear breaks but the car was already there and service was fast and good.

Had a problem with low tire pressure indicator. Turns out that it was the spare tire. It was taken care of with no charge and I went there spare of the moment without an appointment. Very helpful knowledgeable and professional.

I was on vacation in Dewey Beach Delaware and my battery died. I had called AAA the night before and they thought it was the alternator. Anyway your Dewey Beach team quickly suspected it was just the battery just by my description of what was happening but did check for other causes. As it turned out it was only the battery which they replaced. I can't remember the names of the different folks I spoke with (I dropped it off one afternoon and picked it up the next evening) but I can tell you everyone was courteous friendly and professional. Kudos to the team for a great job and wonderful customer service.

Outstanding knowledge - I have a 1969 Camaro that needed multiple service items and much to my surprise the local Chevy dealer declined to work on the car and recommended Meineke. I understand that these classic cars are a different animal to work on but the Lewes Delaware location took the time to explain the service and updated me along the way. Way to go Angie and crew!!!

it is always a pleasant experience when I go to this meineke in lewes DE, I have a seasonal place in Rehoboth and will continue to go to this repair place for all my auto needs.

I had an appointment but they were swamped. I did not mind as I had no other plans and the waiting was with friendly folks. Difficult to judge workmanship on brakes. Tourist area and things happen.

The shocks and struts ordered for my Highlander were the wrong parts. Once the mistake was observed by the service tech, I was called and the issue was explained. Efforts were made to obtain the correct shocks and struts so my vehicle would be ready later on the same day. The service tech was very helpful in taking care of the problem.

Made my apt online 8:30 oil change was in and out by 9:15 reasonable prices I use to take my car all the way to the dealership never again the long drive and expensive prices I will be taking my car to meineke now great prices great people

Good service and location and price

I was on route from Rehoboth Beach Delaware to New Jersey with my daughter and I noticed my tire was flat. I had just gotten it "fixed" in Cortland, NY but no service was ultimately done. The People at the Rehoboth Beach location were wonderful to me. They got me right in and fixed what should have been fixed the day before.

Great customer service ! Dave takes time to explain what was wrong with the vehicle and what they did to fix it It feels good to drive away and the car problem is fixed . I trust Meineke!

Angie and Jonathon are wonderful as is all the staff, as are the owners. We found out about them from my wife working out at the gym with the owner. It is nice to do business with people who know their stuff and are so polite. The first time I went there we needed an oil change I let them know that my front headlight was lose and the bracket that was holding it was broken. The attendant looked up the part and printed out a picture of it and I told her yes that is it. She then told me how much the dealer would charge for the part... lots of dollars.. and suggested that I order on line and did. It cost $7.00 instead of $23.00 and I was charged nothing from Meineke to install the part. This company is extremely nice, honest, great communications, does great work, on time.....you would be mistaken to go elsewhere.

As always I received great service at the Lewes, DE location. They always have the lowest prices and are very honest. I take my car there for any services needed. I recommend them to everyone!! The staff is always super friendly!!

The convenience of the location is just one reason I take all my cars for service, more importantly is the honest assessments and friendliness of the staff.

Daniel was my point of contact. I came in for the oil change & mentioned the engine light was on and I had something to check with the brakes. He explained everything and I waited for the change and the repair. The brakes required a master tech, but he couldn't shake free to look, so I came in a couple of days later & Wayne made all repairs under warranty. Engine light review indicated I needed a part. It came in & they installed & all has been well since. They are persistent & thorough & make sure customers are happy. Great location!

As in previous visits to the Lewes Meineke the staff was attentive and listened carefully to the description of the problem. They provided a solution via phone in less than three hours and made the repair (new radiator hoses and system flush) the next day. The staff is friendly and they all communicate very well.

We had a blow out and needed a tire fixed. Went to another place after AAA changed your tire and they made my wife cray. And we called your shop and made her feel better and helped us close to closing time. And We enjoyed the experience. Work was performed in a timely manner and professionally. There wasn't a lot the staff could do to mitigate the $400+ bill but the customer service rep was kind and helpful.

I went for brakes. The employees were friendly and informative. I waited for a couple of hours in the waiting room which had a wonderful atmosphere. Jiffy Lube is history!

I went in for an oil change and to have my front end checked for alignment. The service guy gave me a coupon to have my tires swapped. I also mentioned a slight vibration in the car so they checked the balance of the rear first so I wouldn't have to spend money if I didn''t need to. They aligned the front end. The car rode a lot better when they were done. They did a good job and was conscious of my money.

I owned an auto repair shop for several years in Md. (All Tune & Lube) so I probably look at being a customer a little differently. Your folks did a fine job. I was on vacation and had a serious problem with my exhaust system. Jon the service manager turned my misfortune into almost a pleasant experience. He bent over backwards with his help his professionalism and his courtesy. I have gone out of my way to tell everyone I know in the area about my great good fortune in finding this Meineke location. I was vacationing in the area and I had engine problems and had to be towed to Meineke. I was in tears due to frustration over the situation and the staff was very kind. They listened to my situation and did everything they could to help repair my car. The receptionist was wonderful. She was considerate of my feelings and she did everything she could to make me comfortable and to make the experience as easy as possible for me. They were all professional and wonderful to work with.

Julia Meet me at the front door to welcome me to Meineke. I told her that I was not from the area and needed car repairs done. She walked to the desk and started asking questions after all of the info was given she get my car into a bay and started working on it. A short time later she came to were I was sitting and started to tell me what I needed done to my car. Julia is a pro at her job. She was friendly had a smile on her face. I told to owner of the store how nice it was to walk onto a car care center and work with pros. I will go back to that shop.

I always get my oil changes at Meineke and just a week prior to this oil change I experienced a flat tire. They took me in right away without an appointment. In addition a few days later the tire pressure light came on. I brought it back and they checked it out immediately. Everyone is always friendly and courteous. In particular Julia and Angi are always great. As I wait I observe them being kind and giving wonderful service to everyone that comes in. I feel I can trust them to give me advice on getting the best service for my car without being overcharged or trying to up sell . That is important to a single woman who knows nothing about cars but wants to take care of the one she has.

Meineke really pulled through for my family when we were in a pinch! We were visiting DE from out of town and on the way in I knew something wasn't quite right with our brakes. I called Meineke and although they couldn't get me an appointment for a few days they told me that I could drop it off and they would get to it asap. The first day it was there they diagnosed it and ordered all the parts. The second day it was there the work was complete! They also gave me a military discount which was so nice of them! I am so thankful that when something bad did happy to my car Meineke was there to step in and solve the problem. They were finished just in time for our safe drive home! Thank you!

The staff at the Lewes Meineke is first class. From the owner to the front desk staff members customers are treated like family. I have taken my vehicle to this service center since they opened and I have never had a bad experience. I recently had them replace a transmission and staff shopped around until they could find me the best deal on a used transmission then offered me a concession on labor costs due to my repeat business. I recently had a taillight out and stopped in during an extremely busy time this summer. One of the front desk associates said they were too busy at the present time to assist. Angie (another front desk stafffer) overheard the conversation and said I will change it so you don't have to come back just give me two minutes . She immediately came out to my car replaced the bulb herself and went back to the front desk to help other customers. This is just another day at the Lewes Meineke. Special thanks to Angie Dave R. The sales person was very knowledgeable and helpful. I was on my way back to Pa when this occurred and would not have made it. I would have been stranded but they fixed the problem and got me back on the road asap.

On time, Angie at front desk explained what was done and why, also explained why dealer's recommendation of coolant at 50k did not match mfg specification of 100k and that violent was tested and found to be cleaned = trust to me.

All the service staff is very cordial and helpful. Angie has a great sense of humor. I am concerned about a rumor that the shop in Dover charges less for the same service, because this area has a lot of professionals that can afford the higher prices.

The staff listens and works to make things as good as they can be. Service manager Angii is great and the technician, Rob, who was working on my 45 year old Cadillac has incredible patience and could deal with making work some things that were very challenging.

the guy who did my oil change was a nice guy and was very professional, but unfortunately i don't remember his name. He told me my battery is about halfway down, and eventually I will need new tires, but he didn't give me any hard-sell sales pitches. So I was real pleased with the service.

Besides being close by, I think the trust the staff projects. When I went to get my oil changed, the young lady said, "oh, tell your husband I said hello"! I took her aside to tell her my husband died recently because I know the staff knew him. My husband was the Santa on the Harley-Davidson with our dog in the side car. He use to stop by as "Santa" around Christmas. She had tears in her eyes and gave me the best hug then and when I left. It may sound silly, but sometimes you just need a hug!
