I brought my truck in at 98000 miles for a brake inspection.
I assumed that I would at the least need pads and shoes, since I
had never had the brakes serviced, and even told the manager when
I dropped it off that I expected to have to replace those items.
The manager called me back in a few hours and told me my brakes
were fine and needed no work whatsoever! There was no charge, of
course. In times like these when the consumer is bombarded with
horror stories of 'chain' auto repair shops charging for items and
repairs that were not needed, this man's honesty was a breath of
fresh air, especially in light of the fact that I would have been
very easy to sell new pads and shoes to, since I was sure that they
probably neede replacing... I told all of my co-workers about my
experience with this Meineke shop, and I am looking for ways to
reward him with some work (hopefully I'll find something he can
charge me for this time!). John

I've taken my Civic to this Meineke a year ago and
again recently. I greatly appreciate the quality service, polite
and helpful staff, accurate estimates, and overall value. Every
symptom I mentioned was thoroughly examined, before and after the
work was done. At each visit, I was given a good explanation and
demonstration of exactly what was going on with the car. The work
was done only when I approved it, with an accurate cost estimate,
and no pressure to spend more money or surprises when the bill came
back. I have been pleased with the results of the work. My husband
took his car to a different shop for service, and they call to persuade
us that we needed additional work. We approved it, but were later
disturbed to notice the technician's record of that phone call in
our multi-page carbon copy of the work order. He dutifully recorded
that he "tried to up the sale". I'm glad I can take my
car to a place that is more focused on value, where I feel that
I understand exactly what I'm spending my money on.

My family and I was on a short trip headed to Ft.Worth.Here
we are over three hundred miles from home,and about twenty miles
from our destination,and what do you know!Our car was rear-ended!
After taking with the authority the Manfield Fire Dept.kindly lead
us to one of your Meineke Shop at 1506 Hwy 157 N. Bryan Bigbie and
his staff help us be- cause of some damage to the car exhaust system.Their

I was only given an estimate on what it would cost
to have my car repaired. I had no major damages, but it needed some
work all the same. At the Galveston location, Tony was extremely
helpful and kind. The car was looked at promptly and we were given
an estimate in no time at all. Although my father intends to do
the work on my car himself, I would highly reccommend Tony and his
team to anyone. They were so friendly and knowledgable that any
customer would be lucky to have them work on his or her car. Thanks!

Freddie Hebert and all of the employees there were
so very nice and accomodating and went out of their way to give
me great prompt service. I will be a regular customer from here
on out. Menieke is fortunate to have such super representives. Other

I took my Mom's car in because she had gotten a muffler
there 2 years ago. There were some hangers that had broken so it
was hanging down. I was fully expecting to have to pay for this
service since I have always had to argue with any place I take a
guarantee to. I was very surprised that the manager on duty (Steve
Ochoa? I'm not sure of the gentleman's name) came in and told me
he could do the work if I could wait, AT NO CHARGE! They were very
busy, it was a Saturday, so I was prepared to wait quite a while.
He was finished and I was on the road within the hour. I never hesitate
to write a complaint letter when I'm dis-satisfied with service
so I thought the least I could do is write a THANK YOU letter when
I'm given good, honest service. Thank you!

I wanted you to document the absolute wonderful customer
service we have received from Carl Brown and his mechanic Rob for
our car in the past month or so. First of all, Carl is the Meineke
owner who corrected all of the mistakes to our car (catalytic converter)
that your former Slidell, LA Meineke owner Frank Curly did last
year (which is already documented). Carl has been an absolute God-send
to us...explaining in full detail each code that registered from
our SES light coming on. He and Rob helped us tirelessly, endlessly,
and patiently until the problem was resolved. My husband and I will
definitely continue to bring our car in to Carl Brown's shop for
maintenance and repairs. This is an employee Meineke should be proud
to have, and someone we completely trust with the care of our car.

I just returned from the Rosenburg, TX store and I am extremely
pleased. Your employee put my car in the garage and looked for a second and
then took out the brazing torch and repaired a cut or crack in my exhaust pipe.
I was so happy that your emploee took the time to do it the right way, rather
than try to sell me a complete exhaust system like other shops might try. It
was an A+ experience.

The meineke employees there were very helpful and knowledgeable.
I really appreciated talking with them about my car. Like someday i want to
put a hitch on my car for a bike rack, and this gentleman pointed out to me
how it might go on, and even advised me that because my car is low it might
not be easy. They're even more knowledgeable than just that too. Please tell

I wanted to commend the staff, especially the manager James Bess,
at Carrollton Meineke. While on an internship in Dallas, 1500 miles away from
home, my exhaust system gave out. As a young woman who knows very little about
cars and is on a very straight budget, I was nervous about going to a shop for
fear of getting sold parts or services that weren’t necessary or were
over expensive. Nonetheless, I had another eight weeks of work and the entire
drive home, so I took my car to the Carrollton Meineke. The staff immediately
took a look at my car, and then Mr. Bess showed me the problem -- the entire
exhaust system was corroded and would have to be replaced. I had replaced it
three years earlier (Cars don't last long in Rochester) and expected it to be
pricey. Mr. Bess quoted me initial price, it was almost the same amount I had
paid when my family mechanic replaced the system three years ago. The staff
went to work and two hours later my car was ready to go. Mr. Bess was extremely
courteous, reasonable, and personable.

I am a female college student who dosen't know much about cars.
I thought I had a problem with my breaks and I went to Break check in Austin
and some mechanics told me that I had a severe problem with my breaks. I decided
to get a second opinion and I went to Meineke. The gentleman that work in the
shop quickly took a look at my car and told me I did not have a problem with
my breaks in fact I still had over 60% life in my breaks. I was so impressed
with the great service and honesty that I decided to go back for an oil change.
I commend the great service I have continuesly received at Meineke. Every question
I asked the manger takes time to answer them. Thanks a lot, because it is hard
to find good honest mechanics and car service anywhere. I am glad I can count
on meineke.

Great experience. Price for the same service at a local Midas
was $100, traveled to Castle Rock Meineke as a return customer and was EXTREMELY
satisfied with the work that cost $40!! They run a great shop, excellent work,
and take pride in their work. Jake, takes care of me everytime I walk in the

I just wanted to write you guys a note to let you know the outstanding
service I recieved from your Pacific Beach location. Both Daves went well out
of their way to warranty a muffler that I didn't even purchase from them. Their
effort to go the extra mile should be recognized and commended. I will continue

Just wanted to drop a line that these guys did outstanding work
on my vehicle after I brought it in for brake repairs. They had the problem
diagnosed in minutes and gave me options for the repairs, which made it easier
on me to make the best choice that made sense for me. They allowed me to purchase
my own part and deliver it to them the next day for installation, which saved
me a lot of money. I also found out they do oil changes for about $6 less than
I'm paying now, so I'll be bringing my car there for its routine maintenance
from now on.
Tell these guys they're doing a great job and to keep up the good work. Having
lived in several states throughout the southest and southwestern US, I've been
to other Meineke shops in the past and was neither overly impressed or overly
displeased. These guys, however, met my expectation for repairing the vehicle
and exceeded what I expected from the service side and deserve recognition for
a job well done.

"Saturday, August 25th, we spent the day in Fort Smith
and just before starting home the fan belt on our car broke. We began
calling repair shops only to discover they were closed or closing. We
called seven or eight shops until we tried Meineke at 5:57PM. I wasn't
sure anyone would answer. They did.
"I told them our plight. Joe, Kelly, and Randy arrived
in about 15 minutes, working diligently to remove the broken belt and
install the new one. I like to think I give people the benefit of the
doubt, but I doubt you would find another three men willing to do this
on a Saturday evening for strangers, when they could have been home.
"I'd like to tell the people of Fort Smith that they

"I'm writing to commend Damico at shop #1735 in Dallas, TX. I called for an estimate on some repair work at the end of the day, and he promptly returned my call with an itemized estimate. He was courteous and professional, and Meineke's prices were also better than my current repair shop. However, due to a hidden charge from my current repair shop, it would have been more expensive to move my car to Meineke for the work. Next time I will not be going back to my old shop, and from now on I will call Damico at Meineke #1735."

"You guys have two of the BEST workers at any car care company I have ever been to. These two guys were there to open the place for me and I was the first customer. The gentlemen were nice even BEFORE their coffee. The store is located at 1506 FM 157 North in Mansfield TX. They took care of my brakes quickly and gave me an estimate before they did the work. You need to at least give them a call and give them a verbal pat on the back cause these two are wonderful ambassadors to your company. I will definately be back because of these two. I also have a big mouth and will let people know about my experience. I think people should be praised when they do something right. God knows people complain about others enough.
