courtesy to help my Mother with a converter problem. Matt called several

location. Todd was very polite and willing to help. He answered all my questions and was not pushy.

I went into this Meineke for a simple oil change and
front brake pads, and I left with my front and back brakes
practically new. I did not know about the problems with
my brakes, but this store explained everything to me in
terms I could understand what was going on, the safety
issues, and even called me back three times to break
down the costs and figure out what I could afford at that time. Each
time I received a call, they had found a new discount or way to save
me money. To top it off, they even drove me to and from work while my car
was being fixed. I appreciate everything that they did for me, and I
will continue to return to them for their high quality of customer
service and care.

Twice now I have had work done on my vehicle at this shop. I must tell you that
everyone at this facility is very professional, courteous and caring. My
brakeline started leaking on my way home from work on Monday evening (12/26/2005
after 7pm). My son called this 'Care Center'first thing in the morning and the
manager said to bring it up as soon as we could get it there. Called AAA and
they towed it there. It was done in one hour. My worries were over. I very much
appreciate all their hard work. A wonderful team there. It's not the first time
I had work done there and it won't be the last. Thank you. PS I have a white car
and there was not even one speck of dirt on it when they were done. Cudos!!

George and Zvi are when I am greeted at the Patchogue, NY branch location. These
guys go above and beyond the call of duty when it comes to customer service!! Of
course no one wants to pay for car care, but we all have to do it. They are very
friendly and are working constantly and consistently to make the customer's wait
time as minimal as possible. They don't just tell you something is wrong with
your vehicle, they show you the problem...I like that alot!!! In addition, the

I am pleased to write to the Corporate Office of Meineke and tell you about the
great help and care provided to me by Tasha Irwin and her crew at the Newburgh
Car Care Center. I was returning to my University from a summer's archaeological
excavations at a site in New York last August. My old Ford Ranger lost its
clutch almost as soon as I headed west on the interstate highway. The truck was
loaded down with archaeological gear and I was on a tight deadline to return for
the start of the fall semester. I also had a passenger to drop off in Milwaukee,
Wisconsin. From the side of the road, I began to call local shops. Most of them
would not even work on a truck that was over 15 years old and more than 300,000
miles. My passenger and I were stranded with no cash, 1200 miles from home,
carrying scientific data and equipment. The situation was a disaster! The tow
truck driver arrived on the roadside and he began taking us to the Ford dealer,
who had very reluctantly agreed to look at my rig. The driver gave us an honest
assessment of the situation- that we should go to Meineke. We took his advice
and he towed us to Tasha's place. She agreed to fix the clutch. But her crew
went way beyond that simple task. In less than 24 hours, Tasha's people pulled
out my clutch, found the needed parts, completed the repair, and had me back on
the road by 6pm the next day. I dropped of my passenger, delivered the gear and
project materials, and arrived in plenty of time to give the "Welcome to
University" lecture to all the newly arrived 1st year students in orientation.
Ms. Irwin's staff worked extra hours and really pulled through for me in my
crisis. They were honest about their work and clearly went above-and-beyond
their regular duties to get me back on the road. I'm sorry that I've been so
delayed in relaying my story, but the academic year just concluded here and I'm
taking this time to catch up on my belated correspondence. Please contact me at

On May 21st I took my car to the shop to address my pulsating of the brakes. The
remedy was replacing the front brakes and rotors, which the shop did on that
date. The problem was still there, so i was told to come back on monday to look
further, as the shop was closing for the day and there would be no harm in using
car. Because this was my first time using this shop I became cautious when I was
told the problem was probably the back rotors also. I felt like I should check
with the shop that normally has done work on my car to verify what meineke was
telling me. Well What the pontiac shop said was the knew rotors meineke put on
were warped and the back brakes were fine. I felt very confused at this point,
but I had to believe the pontiac shop because of my history with them. I went
back to meineke and they happily turned my front rotors for me, but they once
agin said they would like to examine the back brakes because they feel that's
the problem. I decided to let the pontiac people put new back breaks on my car
even though they first said the back breaks were fine. Well they were wrong and
I now I feel bad that I called to ask for your assistance in helping me resolve
my problem which I thought was from Meineke. The false information was from my
pontiac dealer not meineke. I'm sorry and I hope that you make a note of this

The staff at Meineke did an excellent job with my car. They replaced the rotors
on the front axle, rotated and balanced my tires, and did the state inspection.
The manager of the shop especially had excellent customer service skills. I was
amazed - you don't get that kind of service these days. The total bill was very

When I came home from school his car was making a horrible noise. My Dad was
gone overseas in the Navy. I asked my mom to listen. She said it was my muffler
and we needed to take it to Meineke. Well, Meineke is 2 towns over, but she
insisted. We made it there 5 minutes before closing. They not only took the time

I'm writing to express how impressed I am with the wonderful professional
service I recently received at Meineke shop in Milford, CT. Our vehicle is
a wheelchair van. Mr. Ross Hiltz at the Meineke shop came to my home,
temporarily secured the old exhaust system and drove the van to the shop for
repairs. The repairs were reasonably priced, and quickly made. Mr. Hiltz even
offered to bring the van to my home, which was greatly appreciated as my wife is
immobile, and on that day I was home as caregiver. Your Milford Meineke shop
sets a high standard of customer service and I am extremely grateful. George

Dear Sir/Madam; Your Meineke store #258 has done
it yet again! It has PROVEN to me why Mr. Bob Gerstacken and his
crew is one of the ONLY TWO automotive shops I trust with my family
vehicles ('97 Chevy P/U, '00 Malibu, '01 Camaro). While my wife's
Malibu was in for service, a cracked gasket was detected AND DIAGNOSED
correctly. This was done while the vehicle's extended warranty
was still in effect. The repairs I received under warranty would
have cost me a small fortune, if it wasn't for the likes of Bob
Gerstacken and his professional/able staff of Eric, Rob, John,
Kenny, Chris, and Ed. I continue to rave about how well I have
been treated at Meineke store #258 to as many friends I can. Your
corporation can be proud of the way I, my family, and my friends
have been handled by them. THEIR HONESTY IS ABOVE REPROACH - something
I can RARELY state concerning automotive repair shops. As far

My husband and I were traveling in our Motorhome
for a long weekend. Our motorhome broke down. Needless to say,
it put a wrench in our plans. We went to the Ford Dealer on Monday
the 9th and they could not help us as they do not work on Motorhomes.
We went to Meineke down the road and spoke with the Manager Dave
Hurd. Even though they were very busy that day and had a full
schedule, Dave spent time locating the part we needed to have
it delivered the same day. He then worked on the vehicle himself
and made sure we were able to pull out of their shop by 6:00 p.m.
that night. We are very pleased with the service Dave Hurd gave
us and would like to express our great thanks. You are very lucky
to have a someone like Dave Hurd working for and representing
your company. Our experience may have caused problems in our vacation
plans but we both had to be back to work by Wednesday. We were
over 4 hours from home and we were unpacking by Tuesday afternoon

I found Meineke about 10 years ago when I moved
into the area. Tony and his one mechanic (Sorry, I don't know
his name but he has worked on my car numerous times) are just
outstanding. It hasn't mattered what car I have owned, they are
always right on the money. Tony told me years ago, to bring the
car in, if they can't fix it, he'd tell me what's wrong and about
how much it should cost. They have always done so. They have always
given great advice. With one or two exceptions, they have been
able to do the work. Case and point... yesterday my back tires
locked. I had to be towed. Since my car is under warranty, I was
towed to the dealership. I rented a car and went to work. By the
time I got there, the dealership had called stating the emergency
brake was on. I don't use my emergency brake. I had explained
that the tow truck driver had "pumped" the emergency
brake to unlock the tires to get it on the flat bed. I asked them
to take another look. I asked them to put it up on the lift and
check it out. I drive almost 35 miles each way to work and I the
thought of that happening again on a highway was not a pleasant
one. A few hours later I called back the dealership. They insisted
nothing was wrong, it was the emergency brake. Needless to say,
I was not comfortable with that. The tires wouldn't lock for no
reason. I hung up and called Tony. I explained what happened.
I asked if I could bring the car in on Saturday after I picked
it up from the dealership. No problem was the answer I received.
By 11, I was there. After completely taking the brakes apart,
they found the problem. Part of the brake drum had broken free
and had jammed. My car was promptly fixed. He has offered to speak
with the warranty company on Monday, if need be. I wanted you
to know that Tony and his mechanics create an atmosphere of confidence,
trust and loyalty. They are just wonderful. And that's the reason
I will always go back!

I had visited your shop to get another estimate
on
muffler repair, after Monroe had told me it would be 325.00 to
repair my
system.I had told Monroe I had a noise I couldn't identify.I went
to
your shop and not only did the gentleman (I believe his name was
Tom)
show me where they had hit my muffler with something metal to
make my
muffler make a sound like it rattled, but he identified the real
problem( a loose sway bar). He then went for the part and had
the car

of the ad with George Foreman,The Champ in it,and I continue to
come back for car service because of the way I'm treated as a
customer. Most car repair/service or auto dealerships treat women
customers as if we don't know anything about cars,but the dealings
I've had with both Dean and Eddie at the Meineke Shop in Smithtown,New
York has been anything,but pleasant. Not only have they treated
me with dignity and respect,but they did not assume because I
am female I don't know anything about cars. They explain in detail
what my car needs to maintain it being safe to drive,but take
the time to explain to me the repairs needed in language I understand.
As a travel nurse who has put many miles on my car,the need to
maintain my car is a true necessity for me,but also the need not

I went to two different car repairs places before
going to your shop. Todd McFeeley waited on me immediatley (I
was just a walk-in)and impressed me by saying," let me look
at it first." None of the other car places said that, they
just gave me a quote. Todd took me over to Jim Allen (the mechanic)

at 1 Main Street Danbury, CT. on all the help they were while
I was traveling from PA to Maine. They even arrange a rental car

In May I needed to have new front breaks on my car.
I didn't want to go to the dealer because I knew it would be very
expensive. I had called a friend and she suggested going to Meineke
since she had very good experience with them in the past. Unfortunatly
some mechanics will take advantage of a woman when they bring
in their car for repairs. I called, spoke w/Tom Bullock, made
an appt & brought my car in. Tom was so helpful, friendly,
and professional. He arranged for me to get a ride to work, and
be picked up as well. He had called me at work and told me what
he felt needed to be done. I have had my car worked on before
at other places and have asked for a phone call before any work
was done, but it didn't always happen. Yesterday morning my car
had a problem starting & I had been hearing a squealing which
I thought was most likely the belts. I called & spoke w/Tom
again. Again he was so accomidating, he suggested I bring the
car in on my lunch, had arranged for a ride back to work. I called
a few hours later. He told me the belts were fine, he check the
battery which was fine and cleaned the cables. He said there was
no charge since he didn't do anything. I know for sure that if
I had gone to the dealer they would have changed the belts even
if they didn't need them & it would have cost me more then
and arm & a leg. Again Tom was very professional and had gone
out of his way to help me. I cannot praise Tom enough as to how
helpful, and professional he was. He certainly goes out of his
way to accomidate his customers. I would highly recommend this
Meineke location to anyone that askes me.

I wanted to thank and commend your staff at Meineke's
on Frankford Avenue. I believe the manager on duty that day was
Louis. My family and I came to your shop with apparent brake problems.
My wife, children, and mother in law were all treated with the
utmost courtesy. During our drive on Frankford Avenue, the brakes
on my Caravan suddenly malfunctioned. I stopped at you shop and
the staff conducted a thorough inspection. First, one of the mechanics
did a rest drive. Then your staff disassembled my brakes and checked
them for any problemns. Finally, your manager took me into the

My wife and I were on our way from the airport to
our home in Pittsburgh, having just returned from our honeymoon.
We had been traveling for about 18 hours, and were about 10 miles
from home when I began hearing a scraping beneath my car, and
some very loud engine noises. We pulled over, and found that my
exhaust pipe had fallen down. With the help of a tow truck driver,
we made it about 2 miles to the local Meineke. Not only did they
do a nice, fast (under 1 hr) job patching the pipe, but the manager
said that because it was coming back from our honeymoon, he wasn't
going to charge us! That sort of kindness really turned a bad
situation into a wonderful gift. I had never been to a Meineke
before, and had chosen this one solely because of its location.

Hi, I just had to write you and tell you that the
service I recieved at store # 788, in Biddeford Maine was outsanding!
Here's the story. I drove up to Maine from South Jersey and my
car wouldn't start in the campground I was in. I drove up for
my friends wedding, and he was getting married that very morning
my car refused to start. With help from another person at the
campground I was able to get it running again with them tapping
on the switch as I turned the key. I called the station and told
them about the situation I was in, that my starter gave up on
me and I had a wedding to attend at 10.30 am. Well, when I get
to the station they have the starter I needed waiting for me on
the counter and in NASCAR-like pit crew time replace it lighting
fast! So I was able to enjoy a full day with my friends after
all. I can't tell you enough how impressed I was with the service
and they were all very friendly and undertstanding about the stressful
situation I was in. They really saved my entire trip that morining.
What a great bunch of guys working there that day, the entire
crew. Friendly, fun, they made me relax and allowed me to enjoy
the rest of my day. They turned a tough time into a pleasant experience
actually. So please pass this on to them. I can't thank them enough.

ago, had been hearing a weird rattling noise. I assumed it was

I was in your Vernon Shop today for an emissions test that the
State of Connecticut requires. I think many businesses have forgotten how
to treat their customers, and that is why I am writing to you. The service
I received at your Vernon shop was superb and extremely respectful. The service
manager, Stu was very courteous and helpful. I requested a specific time for
my test because I needed to be home to get my children off the bus. He made
every attempt to accommodate my request and treated me very kindly. When the
equipment had problems the morning of my appointment, he was up front and
communicated to me there may be a problem. I really appreciated the consideration
he showed me. Once the Machine was working, Stu fit me in still considering
my need to get home by a certain time for my children's Bus. I also would
like to acknowledge the courtesy of the technician who performed the emissions
test. Norman Stender Jr. was very polite and explained everything to me in
a way I could understand. He was pleasant and kind. I don't normally write
letters but I left the Vernon shop with such a positive feeling that I wanted

I think that the service I received was exceptional! I brought
my car in because of a problem with a vibration and rattling noise after I
had the exhaust replaced by another company. The other company treated me
like I was an idiot and did not want to look into what was causing the vibration
and noise. Your technicians not only found the problem, which was a clamp
that was installed improperly, but they also fixed it for me at no charge.

I took my Blazer to Meineke Shop #66 in North Haven, Ct. It
needed exhaust work, but I wasn't sure how much work it needed. I didn't know
if the catalytic converter was in need of replacement or not. Ben tested it
and told me that it was fine, all that needed replacement was the exhaust
pipe, muffler, tailpipe and one clamp. The price was just what I'd been told
over the phone a few days earlier, although a new catalytic converter COULD
have been recommended--and I would have been charged accordingly. I was impressed
with the integrity of this Meineke Center, doing only the neccessary work
without looking to make more money for the job. The mechanic, Jim did a great
job, and I didn't even hear it when he took the Blazer out of the shop. It
was a good experience going to this Meineke Center, and I expect that I will

I tried to have my explorer repaired at a local car repair shop
that I had used many times in the past for engine work.The dashboard check
engine light had just come on and the shop wanted to replace my catalytic
converters for $500. This light had a history of coming on and when I had
the previous garages diagnose the problems they indicated that it was problably
an Oxygen sensor which was malfunctioning. So I had been living with this
for 70, 000 miles. Since I was in the process of selling the car I needed
to have this problem remedied. I called Missey at the Meineke shop and asked
if they could look at the car. I take my all of my cars to this Meineke for
all exhaust and suspension work. Missey quickly accomodated my schedule needs
and took the car in. Within a coulple of hours the mechanic diagnosed the
problem, clogged / dirty oxygen sensor, repaced it, and had my car available
that same day. I and the new owner were very pleased. I would like to acknowledge
Missey's prompt handling of my problem and her professional behaviour and
communication. Her technical knowledge of the problem and desire to help make
it right and keep repair cost down is greatly appreciated. I am a satisfied
customer and I steer others to Meineke as often as possible. Keep up the great

Had a problem with a front brake fade condition after the rotors
got hot. Their tech 'James' rode with me so I could show him how and when
the noise occured. He recognized the sound, re-turned the rotors, and replaced
the brake linings. . .all still withing the 90 warranty period. He asked me
to drive and rode with me to make sure the problem had been resolved to my

I had just recently moved to orange county and didnt know (or
trust)any local auto repair shops. When I needed my muffler (I thought, it
ended up being a pipe to cat converter) repaired I went to shop #481 in Harriman.
They gave me a ride home so I could get my wifes car to go to work and helped
me pick my car up as well - that was my 1st time at this shop. The 2nd time
I needed some repairs I went back with my car (and 3year old son) to get my
repairs. They have cable TV in the waiting room - this was great for my son
to watch cartoons while we waited. As no fault to the repair tech the new
muffler they installed was defective and I returned on 1/3/04. When I went
back on 1/3/04 I was in and out in less than 1/2 hour. Thats great service!!!

of John Bolin, at the Hershey PA meineke center. I had previously had my car
looked at by an independent repair shop but had some misgivings about the

Thank you for first class service! I came into the Meineke
center earlier in the week and made inquiries about replacing the exhaust
system on an upcoming Saturday. The attendant gave me a time to arrive,
a price estimate and told me how long it would take. That Saturday,
not only was my car pulled in for service exactly at the time was told
but also, the price was correct as well as the amount of time I had
to wait for the service to be completed. Keeping one's word in the auto
repair business is practically unheard of these days. I know it's such
a small thing, but I was beside myself when Meineke delivered what they
promised, when they promised and for the price they promised. I've come
to expect poor service, inconvenience and shay price estimating. I wish
Meineke provided more auto care service centers. If they did, I would

"I would like to take this opportunity to praise
Meineke. The service that I received at this center (in Southhampton,
NY) was excellent. The owner, Steve, took the time to tell me exactly
what my car needed to pass the New York State Inspection. Not only that,
but he showed me and explained to me about the brakes. He suggested
that I have the air filter changed and the fuel injection system done.
All for only $300.00.
The point of bringing this total up is because I was at
another station who said I needed all these other things done to pass

personnel at your Kingston, New York store #381. I recently had an exhaust
problem on my Toyota Camry, and the previous owner told me that only
a Toyota dealer could handle this problem. So I went to a Toyota dealer
