I would like to let you know of the exceptional service I received at Meineke
7290 W Washington St in Indianapolis. I have taken my vehicles there for service
now for about 2 1/2 years and I am extremely satisfied every time I have service
done. In particular I would like to commend the Manager Howard Jines. Howard not
only is a very nice person to deal with, he is also honest, fair and really goes
out of his way to make sure that all of his customers are satisfied. Howard
should be commended along with his entire staff!! They are a great bunch of guys
and they do quality work, which is so hard to find these days. I have
recommended Howards store to all of my friends and family, and will continue to
recommend them to anyone I meet that is in need of car service. Kudos to Howard,

I just wanted to say how nice the workers were at this meineke on telegraph that
I went to for an oil change...after the oil change i went to go pay and I was
happy to hear that the oil change was on the manager. another thing i really
appreciated was how they didnt push me into buying things for my car to run
better, i cant say how many times i go to other place to just get an oil change
and they try to talk me into a hundred different flushes and other

After having some repairs done in November of last year, my wife was concerned
about exhaust fumes that she smelled in the passenger compartment. The manager,
Tim, immediately encouraged use to bring in the vehicle, and he did discover two
leaks in the muffler and one at the gasket, which he promptly fixed. He made
things right, promptly and professionally. We'll be back - he's earned our trust
and confidence.

I want to let someone know that I recently had car trouble, and was 45 minutes
from home. Nobody could help me at the late hour I needed it - (3:30pm). I
stopped at the Meineke at 3702 West 86th street, Indianapolis, In 46268.
I was not only helped by Anthony Ramella, he was polite,
honest, and speedy. He fixed my car, and told me about a very serious issue I
could face without another repair. He apologized for not being able to get the
part as fast as I needed it, but made sure I realized I needed to get it fixed.
I was so impressed, that I took my car not to my regular mechanic, but to
another Meineke, near my house. I have spent $500.00 plus in 2 days at a Meineke
store..And will continue to bring my car to your stores. Anthony, is a value to

I work for childrens hospital here in columbus and I found a flat tire from me
running over a nail. I live 20 minutes from work and was able to take back roads
to this meineke at 6:00pm. The manager Mike Barth was kind enough to patch/plug
the hole in my tire, even though they had a the rest of the day booked and only
one technician working. And he did it very quickly with no charge. Now, I'm sure
this doesn't normally happen, atleast not to me and I wanted to say thank you to
him again and to Meineke for hiring good and compassionate people like Mike!

Meineke Car Care Shop #1377 was outstanding to help my husband as he was having
a fatal heart attack on Dec 2, 2005. The staff of Tim and Erin were
unbelievable. They assisted by calling 911 and kept his airway open.
Unfortunately my husband passed away. They continued to help me by driving my
vehicle to the hospital and making sure I was comforted. They assisted with
helping me to call family. I will always remember how much they help my husband
and myself during this difficult time. Please note these employees, Tim and Erin

The 1960 Lincoln that I own is our families fun summer car. Its a convertable
that every year requires alittle TLC prior to summer drives. I wanted to
recognize one of your associates at your 195 Car Center, Curtis Moore. I met
Curtis a few weeks to having my work done at your car center. He discussed the
solution, two new resonators, and John your manager provided an attractive price
offer. I came back to have the work done yesterday knowing that Curtis was the
mechanic for the job. Curtis took this task and turned it into an " piece of
art". The exhaust system is better than when it let the show room doors forty

I took my car into your shop to have an oil change and a state inspection. For
the past 5 years I have used Firestone. I did not like the way Firestone treated
me and felt they took advantage of me so I asked around about where I could take
my car for the state inspection and was told by several people to go to meineke
that they are fair and won't take advantage of people. When I walked into your
shop on telegragh I was greeted by a man named Bill he was very polite and
professional. They did the state inspection and oil change in a resonable amount
of time when they finished Bill told me that I needed a new light bulb for my
brake light but they did not have one in stock within 10 minutes he had one
delivered and my car was done within 15 minutes. Thats what I call service!!!. I
thank Bill and his staff for making my experience a good one and I will

I just wanted to say that I was in Inependence Mo,
from 7-26-04 thru 7-31-04 with my daughters softball team and
on the 31st I had trouble with my car and took it to the store
at 13811 East Hwy 40 in Independence, Mo and told them we were
from out of town and had to leave the next day. Steve Ward said
he will look at it and give me an estimate. Within 10 minutes
he told me the problem, cost and when I can pick it up. He was
the best person I have ever delt with, when I got the car it was
done at the time he said and at the cost. I used to go to Meineke
in Omaha, but after different times the car not done and always
having them say that I always neede extra work done I said I would
never use your company. Steve Ward have given me hope that there
are great people out there thatdon't want to take advantage of

Just wanted to let someone at Meineke know about
the great services we have received at the Meineke franchise located
at 7525 Metcalf in Overland Park, KS. We took my mom's car in
a few weeks ago for new brake pads. They got us in first thing
on a Saturday with no prior appointment, recommended the right
pads for the car, quoted us a great price, got the work done quickly
and recommended that we return for work on the front brakes. We
did that today, and my teenage daugther brought the car in. They
treated her with courtesy and respect, got the work done quickly
for the price quoted, and we think the lifetime pad guarantee
is terrific. I believe they mentioned that they had just recently
taken over this franchise location, and we really feel like they
have gone the extra mile to earn our business. We will gladly
recommend them and return for our future automotive needs.

I had my van worked on today at store #1529. I went
in not
knowing just exactly what my problem was but knew something was
wrong
with my breaks. I first spoke with Paula who was very helpful
in
getting me in right away. Herby was the technician that inspected
my
vehicle. He then took me around the vehicle pointing out where
my
problems were and why. That is not typical of most repair shops.
He
explained the recommended repairs also letting me know if some
of those
repairs were repairs that could wait as money was and always is
an
issue. Howard then went the through the charges for all the work
and
made me very comfortable that I was paying for services that were
actually needed on my vehicle. I had an awesome expreience today
at
store #1592. I will definitely be back for future repairs (although
I
hope no time soon). I will also be referring all my friends and

We were taking a family vacation to Kings Island.
On our way back to Kings Island after dinner, I noticed that the
brakes weren't working properly which concerned me since we have
two young children. The first place we stoped at told us it would
be a week before he could get the part ordered to get this fixed
(the brakeline on the driver's side was rusted through). The next
place we stoped at on down the road told us that they would be
able to look at it the next day, and if it was the main brake
line as we were told, it would take about 5-6 hours to fix and
would cost at least $375. Since this happened around 6-7pm, we
figured this was good enough and was going back to our hotel since
we didn't really want to chance looking for another place with
only front brakes. On our way to the hotel, we seen a Meineke
and thought we would check to see if by chance they could fix
it sooner. The gentelmen inside told us that they were about to
close but if we stoped in early the next morning they could look
at it and hopefully have it fixed in about 2 hours depending on
what they ran into, another line rusted, calipers not bleeding
correctly, etc. The van was dropped off at 7:30a.m., as soon as
they opened the store and in no time the technician had our ven
looked at and was able to tell and show us exactly what the problem
was and that there were actually two different lines which needed
replaced on the drivers side and that it would aproximatly be
another 1-2 hours to complete depending on the difficulty of the
second lines location. My mother and I walked across the street
to the Meijers and picked up a few items, then decided we would
just finnish the wait over at Meineke. Shortly after ariving back
into the shop, 2 1/2 - 3 hours after the van was left, everything
was fixed! I expected it would take alot longer than it did. We
were again shown the lines they replaced and also shown the lines
on the passenger side were in good condition. This is what I call
EXCELENT service! I really liked the way my family and I were
treated and also how they really wanted to help us out. It's not
often you find people so caring and considerate. I wanted to take
the time to thank you all for helping us get back on the road
so we could enjoy the rest of our vacation. I've heard great things
about your service, but never before now have we had the honor
of experiencing it first hand. You can definitely count on us
as future customers! I entend on telling others with car troubles
they should use your shop, and if we're ever in that area again
and have car trouble, your shop will be the FIRST place we stop!
I hope the mechanic and manager responsible for this, Michael
Ogg & Bob McCoy, get the credit they deserve for a job done
so well done words can't explain! Thank you again for a job VERY
well done, the courtsey we recieved, and doing it in a timely

I really want to appreciate the good customer service
I received at store # 1592 which is located on W. Washington Street
in Indianapolis, Indiana. Manager Paula was really nice and friendly.
Moreoever, Technician Kris was also very helpful. I really appreciate
the honesty and sincerity of these people. I went there for transmission
oil flush but after looking at my car, Kris told me that I don't
really need flush because transmission oil looked perfect and
I was also not having any problem with transmission either. Someone
else could have easily made $85 for that service but they honestly
told me that I did not need that service. I will definitely come

I want to commend the Meineke Car Care Center #
639 at 1800 South Walnut Street in Bloomington, Indiana for their
excellent service, professionalism and integrity. I have gotten
general repairs and oil changes done at that Meineke location
for the past several years, but recently I was in town at a car
wash and found that my truck would not start. Being a Saturday,
I had called several different service garages for both a towing
service and to quote me on what might be the problem. After describing
the truck symptoms, I was told by two of the businesses that I
had called - both local and national chains, that the problem
was definitely my fuel pump and that it would be $600 to replace
it, as well as a $80 diagnostic fee and additional $45-$65 towing
charge. And, that they could not even look at it until Monday.
It was 8:00 am Saturday morning. I live in a neighboring town
and would also need a rental car for the weekend to get home and
finish weekend business. I went ahead an ordered the towing service
and waited. After an hour, I called the service station back only
to find out that they had not yet "gotten a hold of the tow
truck". I cancelled it. I called Brian Dorsey, the manager
at the Bloomington Meineke shop. Not only did he recommend an
excellent towing service - the least expensive in town, but the
tow driver was there within 10 minutes. He said that he would
look at my truck when I brought it in and see what could be done.
Brian did a complete diagnostic check and much to my surprise,
it was not the fuel pump, but only the inertia switch that cuts
off the fuel flow to the engine that had to be reset. It was a
matter of pushing a switch. I have not had any problems since
then. There was no charge and I had only a minimal tow bill. I
am sure that the other service stations that I had called would
have eagerly gone ahead and replaced the fuel pump and charged
me $600 without a second thought. Kudos and thanks to manager
Brian Dorsey, Tom and owner Tim Dittemore at the Meineke, Bloomington,
Indiana location. It is reassuring that you can still find an
honest mechanic. I commend their integrity and professionalism
and would recommend their services to everyone. Thanks guys! You

I just wanted to express my gratitude for finding
an "honest" repair service. On Saturday, August 28,
2004, I took my car in to shop #1668 to get new brakes. I was
convinced that is what I needed and even told the store staff
that. I left the car with the instructions to call me on my cell
phone with the estimate. What a pleasant surprise to hear "you
don't need brakes at all...just low on fluid". As a single
Mother on a fixed, tight,income...this was music to my ears. I
could not believe that in this day and age when the majority of
service related industry is "out for the dollar", there
is still a company that actually lives their motto! I am a confirmed
Meineke customer for life! Thank you for renewing my faith in
auto repair service. I would really like to request that the GREAT
employees of this location be recognized for being outstanding
ambassadors for Meineke!They wouldn't take any payment for the

Recently my wife's car began to make a noise as
if the muffler had a hole in it. I took it to my usual repair
person which is Steve Bass Tire Company and he said lets run it
down to Meineke. We left it there and they said they would give
us a call when it was ready. Less than a half hour later, they
called and said it was ready. I could not believe that they repaird
or put a new muffler on in that period of time. I had my check
book out as I walked in ready for the bad news and very skeptical
that it had been repaired in that length of time. The manager
said I was ready to go and that there was no charge. It seems
that my wife had backed into something and pushed the tail pipe
into the muffler slightly. Your guys pulled it out and it was
fixed! I am afull time professional photographer. Far from a mechanic
so I appreciate what they did for me. They could have easily taken
advantage of the situation. I will highly recomend your service
to anyone. Yourmanager and workers at that location provided professional
service both in the repair bay and the office. I tried to get
them to give me a fake bill of $200.00 so I could collect it from
my wife. (Hey, after 35 years of marriage and 5 children, you
use any angle you can to get a little fishing money!) They all
laughed and said that they would like to help but they couldn't.

I have to say, that Pete, Phil, and the guys at
the Meineke in Middletown, Ohio have been nothing but incredible
when it comes to taking care of my family cars. Being in the Navy
and always coming and going, everytime I am back in town I take
the car in to get it serviced. They will take my expired coupons
if it was a time during when I was deployed or they are giving
me a military discount. In a world that seems to be forgetting
what it is to support your local military, this shop is on top

I train customer service representatives so I have
learned to know the difference between good and not so good service.
Today, what I thought was just an exhaust pipe broke on my vehicle
on the way home. I drove straight to Meineke to get it replaced.
It was 5:30 as I walked into the shop and they were shutting down
for the evening. After some brief begging on my part, D.W. Simms
stated that he would look at it and see if he had the parts to
replace it, thinking that it would be a quick job. Well, he did
get it on the lift and found out that the whole system needed
to be replaced. After some thought on his part, Mr. Simms decided
to do the job and replace the system. Two hours later, it was
finally done. I thanked him again for staying two hours late to
get the job done. He stated that if it was anything else, he probably
wouldn't have done it but he loved working on exhaust systems!He
did an excellent job and showed me World Class customer service
to boot! Come to find out, it was his youngest son's birthday!
His dedication is something to be recognized. He asked me if I
was coming back. I replied that if anything goes wrong on any
part of my car, I will come directly to him. I stated that he
has gained a customer for life and me and my whole family will
be his customer. I wanted to say thank you to D.W. and a job well
done!!!!

I just wanted to commend the staff at Meineke in
Waukegan Illinois. My Jeep was running very loud and backfiring
on me. I brought her in on Friday for service to see what the
guys at Meineke could do. They found that I had an exhaust manifold
that was cracked in three places. The worker, Tasleen (I think
that is the spelling) offered to keep my Jeep locked up in the
shop over the weekend for me while they figured out about getting
the part ordered. Then he called me first thing Monday morning
to let me know what was wrong and what the price was going to
be. I then called around a found a price that was cheaper. I called
Tasleen and told him of the situation, and how I wanted to give
him the business for all of the help he has given me. He was very
polite and very patient with me. He fully checked it out, called
me back, and said that my business was important to him, and that
he would match the other price. The part was overnighted in, and
the staff did a beautiful job putting her back together. She honestly
runs better now than she did when I first got her in 1999. When
I went to pick her up, Ali (again not sure on the spelling) went
through all of the information with me, and then showed me the
old manifold so that I could see what the problem was with the
old one. If every business ran with the same customer service
and politeness that this store did, the world would be a happier
place. I have told everyone I know of the treatment I received
and have recommended this Meineke for their future service as
well. Thank you very much, and please pass on my thanks to the
staff in Waukegan Illinois as well.

at the front and back and told all it needed was cleaning and adjusting the
back brakes. Said the front pads were fine. Cost $19.00-was I pleasantly surprised
to find a car business so honest and freindly. I will recommend that store

After taking my vehicle to a Ford/Mercury dealer
and being quoted nearly $200.00 and three hours of labor time
to fix a broken brake line, I was disgusted with the expense this
dealer quoted me in respect to what seemed to be such a simple
problem. Needless to say, they didn't service my vehicle. Driving
past a few minutes later, I decided to give the guys at Meineke
a chance. This was the first opportunity I gave Meineke to service
my vehicle, but it certainly won't be the last. The staff was
friendly, the shop was comfortable and convenient, and 45 minutes
later, I was back on the road with the problem with my brake line
fixed. The total bill was about $60.00, and you can imagine how
shocked I was about that after hearing what I heard from my dealer.
In my industry, as is true in most, the customer relationship
determines your company's success. This location's staff not only
impressed me with their candid professionalism, but became a place
I'd be proud to return to, and furthermore, refer others to for
auto service. To the folks at the Dubuque Meineke, thank you.

I just wanted to let you know that Kerry and the
guys at Store# 415 in Northbrook Illinois know the true meaning
of the words "Customer Service". I had my front and
rear brakes done there at 27K miles. At about 36K miles the brakes
were squeaking and I brought my car again to have it checked out.
The technician told me the indicator was rubbing a little bit
so he bent it back and told me that I had a little more than half
the life of the pads left. Well, at about 39K miles, I heard the
distinct sound of a worn brake pad grinding the rotors. I called
Kerry and voiced my concern that maybe because the indicator was
bent back, that this might have hindered my abilities to bring
the car in sooner so the pads can be replaced. He told me to bring
it in and he'll check it out. I brought the car in the next day,
a couple of hours later he Kerry contacted me and explained to
how I might possibly have faulty calipers (but still safe to drive)
he then proceeded to replace my rotors and pads at NO CHARGE to
me. Needless to say I was expecting a "face-off" but
that was not to be. Instead, I was VERY satisfied with the service
and courtesy I received. It isn't often you find that kind of
customer service in any organization. Which makes it very refreshing.

I called Bryan (the store manager)for a quote to install 4
struts on my vehicle.When I delivered the vehicle to him, he inspected
the struts and determined that the current struts were in excellent
condition, contrary to information I had received from my neighborhood
service station. I appreciate his honesty and have decided to
trust him with all my future auto repair needs. While waiting
in the customer waiting area, I also observed Bryan's customer-relations
techniques and manner. He is exactly the type of employee that
I would look for to represent my own business interests. He's
professionally and genuinely friendly and helpful to ALL the customers.

After over a month of car troubles and feeling taken advantage
of by various dealers and small shops, I decided to take my car to Meineke.
As a female university student, I hadn't felt like most mechanics took me
seriously but didn't have any idea who to turn to or who I could trust. When
I talked to Lee and Gerry however, they listened to the whole saga leading
up to my current car problem and walked me through the options that I had
to fix it. They even pulled out diagrams of the exhaust system so I could

I amazed at the level of service that I received
at this location. They repaired a bad bearing in my front driver
side wheel several moths ago at a fair price and good customer
service. Today I had a noise in the wheel due to some water; they
said that all they needed to do was to add some lubricant. I also
asked them to check my breaks and they said they were ok. They
did not charge me for either. I will continue to use this station
for my repairs and oil changes because of their honesty and service.
I know that they could have told me that I needed a major repair
along with new breaks and or rotors. Please pass this onto your
corporate officers and to the shop itself.

I wanted to bring to your attention the extraordinary quality
coming from your facility in Peoria, IL. No stranger to auto
service, I have noticed in general an unfortunate lack of customer
service; however, Center # 515 located at 3708 North Prospect
Road, Peoria, IL 61614 is a note worthy exception.
Your staff in Peoria are consistently knowledgeable. There
by, Meineke earns the trust of the local community. They do not only
gain respectability in their mechanical ability’s. This staff
prioritizes the individual needs and concerns of each and every client
so that to the best of their ability everyone who crosses their threshold
receives proper service. While observing the interaction between this
staff and other automobile owners, I was quite pleased to find that
every employee stepped out to answer questions with such depths of friendliness
that you don't just find anywhere.
The Meineke Car Care Center on Prospect has won not only
my admiration but also my loyalty. I would rather drive across the entire
city to have these individuals work on my car tan to stop at any number
of average - rated operations that are closer. I have recommended then
to my friends, as this particular Meineke facility was first recommended
to me by word-of-mouth.
If you have any method of rewarding facilities that epitomize
the quality of the Meineke name, then it must persuade you to conceder
Center #515 in Peoria. If individual employee can also be acknowledged,
the young man who assisted me Shawn, should be also be honored for exceptional
representation of the above mentioned qualities.

Your manager at that site, John Charpentier, is exceptional in customer
service. You can tell that he is treating his customers the way he would
want to be treated himself. The morning was busy, yet he managed to
make every customer feel as though they were the only one in the shop...including
the people calling on the phone. John keeps everyone informed as to
the status of their vehicle.

"In February of 1999, I had a lifetime muffler put
on at store #1050 at 2211 Harvell Plaza, Bellevue, NE. I have just returned
from there. They replaced the muffler on which the baffles came loose.
No charge. I paid $12 for some clamps, which I was very glad to do.
It is uplifting to go in these days where people are honest
and do good work ... like Charlie and mechanic Richard. Other people
there were also impressed with this place.

The Meineke customer service department received a message
from Sharon Dunn of St. Louis, MO, who was traveling through Nashville
with her sister, Pat Parish, and son, Michael Dunn, when their car started
acting up. After two other repair facilities refused them service because
it was after 5:00, they arrived at Meineke. Chris diagnosed the problem
as a bearing that he would have to order, effectively stranding the
vacationing family in town overnight. Chris phoned for reservations
and gave them a ride to a local hotel, picked them up in the morning
and made them coffee, got their car fixed and got the vacationers back
on the road. The Sharon, Pat and Michael were bowled over by the way
Chris - and Meineke - took care of them.

"I'm writing you to relate a letter-worthy
experience that I had on Christmas Eve with one of your "troops",
Mr. John Williams, in your Overland Park, KS store. I'm in the
military and was given orders over the holidays that required
me to move from the east coast to the Appalachian mountains with
a home-sell and a home-buy and an opportunity to visit my wife's
family in Kansas City thrown in between. Needless to say, we did
a lot of driving.
Being on a fairly tight schedule with orders requiring
me back in Virginia on the 28th of December, I was dismayed when I had
engine emissions trouble in my Ford Explorer. Every single Ford dealership
(I am under warranty...) was closed for business. Mr. Williams, when
called by my wife, plugged me right in for a diagnostic and was prepared
to fix my car. Well, it seems Meineke is the only business that accounts
for over-holidays car trouble, because parts supply businesses that
would have helped him were closed as well. If I can paint the picture:
I'm on a cellular phone, scrambling in the event that the truck required
a more extensive repair; my wife and dog were at her parent's house
waiting for the plan, and it's Christmas Eve. Mr. Williams professional
courtesies and in-depth understanding of the tools at his disposal corrected
my problem, got me back on the road, and with family time and orders
fulfilled to boot.
I cannot thank you enough for supporting such employees
who are dedicated to performing a service. This world seems to be fraught
with people interested I gathering a paycheck and dreading their work.
Mr. Williams was not among them.
Please recognize this fine employee of yours and I hope
Meineke as a whole seeks to reward actions such as those displayed by
Mr. John Williams. You have a customer for life because I trust you!"

at (the Hermitage, TN) store. I have worked in a muffler shop before
and had a good idea of what was needed to repair my exhaust system.
I visited another muffler shop and was quoted a partial and entire system
(to fix what was obviously a "broken weld"). Your shop was

"I just had a wonderful experience at the (76th Street,
Milwaukee, WI) location. I brought my truck in because of excessive
squealing and uneven braking. I expected the worst, which is what I
have always received at other service chains. I was delighted to find

"My 16 year old son is in the process of rebuilding
an older car and although he ordered an exhaust system from a specialty
catalog, when he went to install it, he found it was missing a component.
Being new to car repair, he mistakenly thought it was a catalytic converter
and began and began calling around for the best price and availability.
After numerous calls, the lowest price was from the Meineke shop in
Palantine, IL, located at Dundee Rd. and Rand Rd.
Well, the dealer he was working with called last night with the news
that the part was in. When we drove over there, I advised my son to
bring his new exhaust system (and the "catalytic converter")
just to be sure everything would fit together properly. The fellow he
was working with over the phone (I truly regret not getting his name),
came out to meet him and immediately identified the part in question
as a resonator and not a catalytic converter. He then suggested to my
son that since his new exhaust system already had a resonator he could
fix him up with a simple straight pipe that would work out just fine.
Instead of $175 for the original cost estimate for a catalytic converter,
your guy fixed him up with a straight pipe with flanges welded in place,
gaskets and the necessary nuts and bolts for $35. On top of this tremendous
savings, my 16 year old son was treated with the respect and professionalism
you would expect if it were a big ticket item.
I have never had the opportunity to use Meineke for any service, but
the way that your employee handled my son's transaction was exemplary.
This was by no means a "big" job in the scope of his shop's
daily routine, but your guy handled it as a true professional. Although
my son's funds are limited now and he continues to do as much of his
own work as possible, I know in the future he will always remember how
he was treated at Meineke. As his father, I too will remember this experience
and am sure I will also be a future customer when the need arises."

"I have never written to a company before except to
complain about something, but in the case of the two gentlemen that took
care of me when my muffler was bad, I have to thank them. I had been all
over town trying to get my muffler fixed. With it being an odd part
needed, it was not in stock anywhere… I pulled in (to the Meineke) at
nearly closing time and these guys were so nice to me that I could not
believe it. They found a safe and cheap way to fix my car and get me back
on the road. I wish I had their names but I didn't think to get them.
Being single, on a limited income, they will never know how much they
helped me. Everywhere else I went, (approximately 14 places) wanted anywhere
from $280.00 - $350.00 to replace some part that did not need to be replaced.
In a world of swimming with the sharks, it is refreshing to find two nice
