I tried to have my explorer repaired at a local car repair shop that I had used many times in the past for engine work.The dashboard check engine light had just come on and the shop wanted to replace my catalytic converters for $500. This light had a history of coming on and when I had the previous garages diagnose the problems they indicated that it was problably an Oxygen sensor which was malfunctioning. So I had been living with this for 70, 000 miles. Since I was in the process of selling the car I needed to have this problem remedied. I called Missey at the Meineke shop and asked if they could look at the car. I take my all of my cars to this Meineke for all exhaust and suspension work. Missey quickly accomodated my schedule needs and took the car in. Within a coulple of hours the mechanic diagnosed the problem, clogged / dirty oxygen sensor, repaced it, and had my car available that same day. I and the new owner were very pleased. I would like to acknowledge Missey's prompt handling of my problem and her professional behaviour and communication. Her technical knowledge of the problem and desire to help make it right and keep repair cost down is greatly appreciated. I am a satisfied customer and I steer others to Meineke as often as possible. Keep up the great work.
