I had a good impression of this place because my mother used them for her older car and she felt that she could rely on them to make sure it was safe. I met the guys over the years while picking her up and dropping her off and liked them too, thought they seemed friendly. So one day when I heard a rattle that sounded like it was coming from my exhaust, I thought I'd try to save some money by taking a look myself (rather then go to the dealer where I knew there'd be a diagnostic charge no matter how small the issue might be), and realized it was just a cracked bolt on a heat shield, I thought of them and that they might be willing to just sell me the bolt I needed so I could make the fix myself. Not only did they sell me the single bolt, they offered to put my car up on a lift and install it for no charge, saying that it would be a lot easier than me getting back under the car at home. That experience left me thinking that I'd like to use their business more in the future. I'm glad it did because, when I recently needed new brake pads, I priced the job with them and realized that I'd save a lot of money vs. the dealer, and have these expert car guys and good people doing the job.
Oil change and inspection went without a hitch. Took a little longer than I'd have liked.
Really glad I went here to have my exhaust fixed on my vintage 1968 el Camino ! Meryl was a wizard and was super fast, & efficient on the spot problem solving. High quality work. I highly recommend this Meineke in SH
